TOOTH

Today, I lost my first molar! It is probably the biggest tooth I have ever lost. I am not going to put my tooth under my pillow to night because my dad has not seen it in person yet.

Birthday Fun

On January 31, 2017, I turned 11 YEARS OLD! From my mom and dad I got a super cool Lego set complete with a roller coaster and Ferris wheel. I also got a pair of shoes that has the world map on them. But my favorite gift they gave me was the Pride and Prejudice board game!! My ballet teacher Thais gave me super cozy Snoopy slippers and a card that had a Mariachi band of dogs that played drums and maracas!

My writing teacher, Mariel, gave me a Princess Paper Pop Up book and a gold sparkle pen and a fountain pen. The pen is just like the one Jane Austen used!

My Chinese teacher Angela gave me 22 dollars and a complete calligraphy set with Chinese black ink, an ink stone to make the ink on, as well as brushes and special calligraphy paper.

I also got purple rubber boots from my little sister Squeak and a pink robe that I'm wearing right now. My grandma gave me a lot of writing pads and neat books to record my thoughts and wishes.

CHRISTMAS

          On Christmas morning,  we found a million presents on the living room table and two giant presents on the floor. Although we woke up at 6:00, we did not want to open our presents before our dad woke up and we had an early skating lesson to get to, so we left him to sleep and tiptoed out to our class.

          When we got to the rink there there was almost no one there. The skating lesson was really fun and afterwards, I skated for another hour with my mom and sister. We then went home and opened out presents WITH our dad.

     My sister got a Barbie and spa and a lot of board games. My dad got Star wars socks and 12 kinds of tooth paste such as lavender, mint, licorice...
I got an antique Barbie and a doll house, several background scenes for Barbie and a maze book and many board games. My favorite present is the antique doll , which looks like Marie Antoinette !

Last week, I went to the arcade at the Pier. The first game I played was the claw, that game is really hard to play. After that my sister wanted to go on an animal ride. I hopped on with her and we went around and around and around and just when I thought it would never end, it stopped. Then we played my favorite game air hockey. I played a few more games and then my sister wanted to get her fortune told by Zoltar. On our way to the car, however, my mom dropped my sister's fortune. I saved the day by running back and finding it.

Cousins

     On Monday, I went to Irvine to see my cousin Nylah who was visiting from Washington, DC. My cousin Sophia lives in Irvine. I used to see her every week when I took a math class there, but I stopped doing the class, so  now I don't see her as often.
     Sophia has a little sister, Sonia and a little brother, Savien.  At my cousins' house, we played a lot of running away games. First we ran away from Savien who was on his tractor. Then we ran away from the camera because my uncle wouldn't stop taking our pictures.
     We ate chocolate cake, which my dad brought from Whole Foods. Then we built a fort upstairs and we used a bucket and string to create a pulley so we could bring stuff upstairs without carrying it.
  Unfortunately, one of my uncle's favorite toys fell out of the bucket and broke, which was very sad. After breaking his toy, we jumped on the trampoline. We played Dead Man.  In the game, one person sits in the middle of the trampoline with their eyes closed and the rest of us jump around. The person in the middle then has to catch one of us.
After that game, my dad said it was time to go because we were going to see Cinderella, a play, in Pasadena and my cousins were going to Chuckee Cheese.

The best part about seeing my cousins was how much fun we have together and how nice everyone is. I love my cousins.

Yesterday, I went to the art the exhibit at the Broad. My favorite piece of art at the exhibit was the GIANT table and chairs. The only thing  that I really do not like about museums is that there is no touching! I like the Science Center more because I like to do more than just look!

I really like looking at the life-size sculptures and at this exhibit THERE WERE A LOT OF THEM!
